In messages shared with the BBC the owner explained to Mrs. Holmes that she wanted to rehome Markus because he barks at cyclists, cars and other dogs. When Mrs. Holmes informed her that the rooms were currently occupied but assured to notify her a room became available she politely inquired, "Could you please let me know when that might be?" Before Mrs. Holmes could respond a call came in from a veterinary clinic informing her about "a lady who had just arrived with intentions to euthanize her own dog." Despite the veterinarians refusal Mrs. Holmes expressed

The Family is searching for answers after a Postal Driver ran over their Dog.

Yogi, the family pet from South Carolina was recently captured on a Ring camera being hit by a U.S. Postal Service driver. Despite being familiar with the Gouge family's dogs the driver failed to reduce speed, leaving Yogi with a hip, femur and lower spine injury, along with internal damage. The BluePearl Pet Hospital in Summerville has suggested that amputation of his limb may be necessary, or even euthanasia due to the severity of his condition. Paula Gouge, Yogi's owner, stated: "Officer Suzi Reeves from the Colleton County Animal Services has been in touch with our family and has assured us that we have done nothing wrong. There is no requirement for us to keep him on a leash." Reeves has identified the motorist for the incident and will be issuing two citations for improper animal care, which goes against the Colleton County Code of Ordinances. The motorist claims to have been unaware of hitting the dog. Matthew Breen, the managing partner of Lowcountry Law,

Mama Dog, who had just given birth, was thrown out of a van and was found to be covered in cigarette burns.

Upon discovery of Ruby, who was covered in cigarette burns and abandoned on the roadside, officers found that she was struggling to move due to her recent delivery. Nicknamed Ruby by the officers, this resilient canine was seen in the evening hours of July 11, following a dog walker in Leighton, Crewe. PCSO Lizzie Jolley of Cheshire Police commented, "Ruby was in an alarming state—trembling and struggling to move. It was evident that she had recently given birth to a litter of puppies." The kindhearted Neil stepped up to help Ruby, providing her with a collar and leash, and taking her on walks. The police then arranged a visit to the veterinarian the next morning. The vet's evaluation showed Ruby had head injuries and scars on her back. PCSO Jolley was thankful for Neil's kindness towards her. On Wednesday, July 12th the vets declared Ruby to be in good health and the police found her a home. Ruby did not have a microchip, and no one reported her missing. PCSO Joll

During a car crash in Conroe, a dog was thrown out of an SUV.

The Caney Creek Volunteer Fire Department is looking for a dog that was thrown from an SUV during a crash in Conroe on July 1 near the fire station on FM 2090. Surveillance video of the incident shows a Chevy Tahoe veering off the road and slamming into a stalled trailer, which causes it to lift up on its front tires before bouncing back to the ground. In a cloud of dust, the dog is seen flying from the vehicle and landing on its back before quickly getting up and running away. Firefighters have been putting out food and water for the dog in the hopes of finding it, but have yet to see it. They have also not been able to talk to the dog's owner or family so they do not know what kind of dog it was or its name. The man driving the Tahoe was injured, suffering a broken leg and other wounds, but is expected to make a full recovery. Watch surveillance video of the crash below.

Most people bid farewell to their dogs when they pass away. However in this case the situation was reversed. One day Ryan woke up. Went to work just like any other day. Ryan Jessen initially thought he had a migraine. Unfortunately he was actually suffering from a cerebral hemorrhage. Meanwhile his beloved dog Mollie anxiously awaited Ryans return at home. His family didn't want Mollie to spend the rest of her life wondering why Ryan never came back, from work that day. If you had the chance to know my brother you would understand how much he cherished his dog. Also there is no need to worry about the future of the dog. Michelle made it clear by saying, "She is considered part of our family well."

While rescuing a dog who had been thrown out of a car, they encountered a sick kitten.

Image
Hope For Paws rescuers headed to the spot where someone had thrown a dog out of a car. On their way Alex noticed a motionless kitten lying beneath a vehicle while scanning the area.  Since it was still breathing they proceeded with the rescue mission. A mechanic had kept the dog safe until their arrival. She appeared a bit worse for wear... It was time to take both animals back, to the animal hospital for baths and checkups. Fern, the cat had issues and required removal of a polyp to help her breathe freely once again. Templeton, the dog had a recovery period. Quickly found his forever home! The story of these two getting another chance at life is forever intertwined. Templeton and Fern may not realize it. They are the reason why they are both, in their current situations today! 🙂

Owner Abandoned His Dying Baby Animal Inside A Box In A Parking Lot And Drives Away

Image
Pets are similar, to children. When someone abandons them they feel lost, scared, confused and lonely. That's exactly what happened to a puppy when his owner heartlessly dumped him in a box at a parking lot and drove away. Fortunately Shannon discovered the puppy in the box.  Decided to bring him home. The little pup was extremely weak suffering from mange and weighed 4 lbs. He was fighting for survival while his owner callously discarded him like garbage. Shannon named him "Jiminy Cricket". Made it her mission to nurse him back to health and provide him with a life. After weeks of struggle and determination Jiminy Cricket finally started thriving under Shannons loving care. He grew up to become a companion that touched the hearts of Shannon and her family deeply that they couldn't bear to part with him as foster parents. They ended up adopting Jiminy themselves! It's truly a heartwarming ending for such a friend! Watch the video below to witness
