During a car crash in Conroe, a dog was thrown out of an SUV.

The Caney Creek Volunteer Fire Department is looking for a dog that was thrown from an SUV during a crash in Conroe on July 1 near the fire station on FM 2090. Surveillance video of the incident shows a Chevy Tahoe veering off the road and slamming into a stalled trailer, which causes it to lift up on its front tires before bouncing back to the ground. In a cloud of dust, the dog is seen flying from the vehicle and landing on its back before quickly getting up and running away. Firefighters have been putting out food and water for the dog in the hopes of finding it, but have yet to see it. They have also not been able to talk to the dog's owner or family so they do not know what kind of dog it was or its name. The man driving the Tahoe was injured, suffering a broken leg and other wounds, but is expected to make a full recovery. Watch surveillance video of the crash below.
