A Florida security guard has been arrested after law enforcement officials state he brutally attacked a small Yorkshire terrier, weighing less than 10 pounds, until its death. Furthermore, Miami Beach police believe Sigman Hernandez's fit of rage was triggered when the animal vomited in his car. On the evening of April 7, an employee of a Publix grocery store located nearby discovered the Yorkie in a parking garage, believing it to be dead. As per the police report, officers who arrived on the scene noted that the dog was still alive but had a severely swollen belly. As officers carried the ailing canine to an emergency veterinary clinic, she would periodically emit "moans of pain" as noted in the police report.
