A Florida security guard has been arrested after law enforcement officials state he brutally attacked a small Yorkshire terrier, weighing less than 10 pounds, until its death. Furthermore, Miami Beach police believe Sigman Hernandez's fit of rage was triggered when the animal vomited in his car. On the evening of April 7, an employee of a Publix grocery store located nearby discovered the Yorkie in a parking garage, believing it to be dead. As per the police report, officers who arrived on the scene noted that the dog was still alive but had a severely swollen belly. As officers carried the ailing canine to an emergency veterinary clinic, she would periodically emit "moans of pain" as noted in the police report. An X-ray uncovered that on one side, the dog had seven broken ribs with even more broken on the other. The veterinarians told law enforcement that the dog, whom authorities labeled Lily, had bloodshot ey

When Sue Markham decided to bring a puppy home from the shelter, she had no idea what a surprise she was in for. Robert Markham wasn't particularly enthusiastic about the thought of a new dog, but thankfully, he accepted the idea. In the end, Sue Markham brought a Jack Russell terrier home, and she was elated. The Markhams named the pup Yogi Bear, but he didn't remain a small pup for long. He began to grow, and it quickly became apparent that he was actually a Boston Great Dane instead of the Jack Russell terrier they had been informed of. Although this was quite a surprise to them, the Markhams have adapted to their pet and now lavish him with love and attention. Weighing approximately 200 pounds and standing 6 feet tall from nose to tail, Sue Markham's Great Dane, Yogi Bear, has become a beloved part of her life. Two hours later Lucie Holmes received another call from a veterinarian informing her that the owner had requested euthanasia for Markus due to his barking behavior. However the veterinarian refused to comply with this request. Despite having nine dogs and thirty four kittens in need of new homes Mrs. Holmes and her engineer husband decided to step up and offer Markus a place, in their home. In messages shared with the BBC the owner explained to Mrs. Holmes that she wanted to rehome Markus because he barks at cyclists, cars and other dogs. Yogi, the family pet from South Carolina was recently captured on a Ring camera being hit by a U.S. Postal Service driver. Despite being familiar with the Gouge family's dogs the driver failed to reduce speed, leaving Yogi with a hip, femur and lower spine injury, along with internal damage. The BluePearl Pet Hospital in Summerville has suggested that amputation of his limb may be necessary, or even euthanasia due to the severity of his condition. Paula Gouge, Yogi's owner, stated: "Officer Suzi Reeves from the Colleton County Animal Services has been in touch with our family and has assured us that we have done nothing wrong. There is no requirement for us to keep him on a leash." Reeves has identified the motorist for the incident and will be issuing two citations for improper animal care, which goes against the Colleton County Code of Ordinances. The motorist claims to have been unaware of hitting the dog. Matthew Breen, the managing partner of Lowcountry Law,

Mama Dog, who had just given birth, was thrown out of a van and was found to be covered in cigarette burns.

Upon discovery of Ruby, who was covered in cigarette burns and abandoned on the roadside, officers found that she was struggling to move due to her recent delivery. Nicknamed Ruby by the officers, this resilient canine was seen in the evening hours of July 11, following a dog walker in Leighton, Crewe. PCSO Lizzie Jolley of Cheshire Police commented, "Ruby was in an alarming state—trembling and struggling to move. It was evident that she had recently given birth to a litter of puppies." The kindhearted Neil stepped up to help Ruby, providing her with a collar and leash, and taking her on walks. The police then arranged a visit to the veterinarian the next morning. The vet's evaluation showed Ruby had head injuries and scars on her back. PCSO Jolley was thankful for Neil's kindness towards her. On Wednesday, July 12th the vets declared Ruby to be in good health and the police found her a home. Ruby did not have a microchip, and no one reported her missing. PCSO Joll
